DOD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Aracely Gonzalez O'Malley, 31, of Brawley, Calif., died Oct. 22 at Homburg, Germany, of injuries sustained in a non combat incident Oct. 12 at Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan. She was assigned to the 307th Integrated Theater Signal Battalion, 516th Signal Brigade, 311th Signal Command, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Our Unit
Our Unit is out of Schofield Barracks HI and we are Signal Communications.
Living Conditions
All our soldiers live in tents. Showers for soldiers are trailer showers which do not always have water. The power being used for the tents are 110. We do drop off laundry and pick. We have a few hot plates, pots and pans that we like to use for little gatherings. We do not have any microwaves, but we do have refrigerators with freezers. Iam representing the Battalion as the BOSS representaitve.
