Hey all,

We're thankful for the packages that we have received the beef jerky, hand lotion, router and other items that was sent to us was of a great help! Things have been rolling steady here. It has still been hard to find deoderant/shampoo/body lotion that people like here, as the px is always sold out and guys here really love the chips/beef jerky that we got. We are very grateful for the packages that we have received, they are the highlight of the week when we get one!

Thanks a million for everybodies support!!!!!!

I and my section (whom I'm representing) are from Fort Bragg, North Carolina. We arrived in Iraq at the first of the year and will be here until early May 2009. We support most of the corps in ensuring that they can talk to one another outside the wire and spend our down time in our trailers that has 220v power and basic cable/internet for those that can get a signal.

Some of the things we took for granted back in the states like, chips(cheetos & salt-n-vinegar), Pringles(any kind), beef jerky(regular/teriyaki), body lotion(cucumber melon/any kind), chap stick(hydrating)/lip gloss(strawberry), cough drops(halls cherry/honey lemon/any kind), deodorant(degree women’s "shower clean"/any kind), Facial cleaning wipes/pads(any kind), razors/refills(Gillette Fusion/any kind), have become things that we really miss having and hate not being able to find or being able to find it and not being able to buy it either for various reasons.

This is probably not likely (but, it would really help a lot of people though!), a couple of linksys wireless G (just plain ole g) routers, 10/100 linksys switches (8/16 port), and cat 5 cables (25ft+) would be awesome because they are insanely over priced and even harder hard to find. If we had these, those of us that waited for 2 1/2 months (myself and another person from my section) to get internet could share the internet we have to our fellow soldiers that were unable to make the cut so that they too would have the opportunity to talk to their friends and family, because it may be a while before the chance to buy them comes around again.

It would also be really nice if we could get a few foot-balls & soccer-balls to use during our down time to unwind after 12-14 hours at work!

Thanks in advance for your time and support!
