I am writing on behalf of my platoon. We just arrived in Iraq from South Korea. Most of the soldiers in my platoon will not have lived in the United States for more than 2 years by the time we are finished with our rotation here. We are living in old British barracks. We have power, showers(that work sometimes), and most of the basics. Im not asking for much. Just the little things in life that make it better. Letters, magazines, newspapers, drink mixes, spices, snacks, and etc. You name it, and my guys will probably eat it. We are a very tight bunch of guys. We will be greatful off anything that anyone wants to send.
