How are you doing....I'm doing great!! We will be getting ready to leave here in 3 months! And soldiers are already trying to start to get rid of the excess stuff. Thank You very much for letting me and my unit be apart of your great supportful program. Believe me when I say that this is one of the most grateful things that anyone could do in the time that soldiers are deployed for the USA. Thank you and I will refer your website to my soldiers for there next combat deployment. I will have finished my time in the US Army as I should have been out 45 days ago...but that is what happens when the army is understrengthed. Thanks!!

I would like to mention one person that has given us soldiers alot of support, since I signed up for the ANY SOLDIER program. Her name is TONI KILPATRICK, she is a true and proud American. THANKS ALOT! To everyone else that I didnt mention, you know who you are! THANKS MUCH. It is starting to get hotter over here. I was down in Camp Doha, Kuwait this past weekend and got to go swimming, it was great. Not too mention also got to see women in Bikini's for the first time in seven months :). I have one master letter that I'm typing up. I will start sending to all of you. Believe me I have recieved so much mail in the past month, that I need a quicker way to reply to all of you. If you would like to give me your email address it would be great. My email is joshuaworks@msn.com

Hello again! How is my proud supporters? I have moved, to another location again as you can see in the address. Now I'm working for the 16th Military Police Bde Commander and SGM. I'm attached as a Personal Security Team. Meaning my job has become real nice, alot more privileges. Once again thanks alot to all of the people that have sent me and my company goodies and necesseties. Currently I'm doing real well on alot of stuff. Have made a good stock up on goodies. The guys are still requesting little things such as underarmour shirts, tight and loose fitting, white socks, black cotton socks, brown army t-shirts. Chips and dip are also a good snack in the summer heat :). We are doing good on candy, writing supplies, personal hygiene items. You'll dont have to send anything like this as of right now. Let me get rid of some of the stuff that I have stocked up on. If you have sent me a package or letter, once again THANK YOU very much! I hope you have recieved some type of reply. And believe me I try my hardest, but I still have some catching up too do in order to reply to all of you. For those one and two's that I might miss, SORRY! You guys are the best, and I truly mean that! Oh yeah the guys are starting to hit up the gym alot now too, any type of gym supplements or protein bars would be great also. Thanks alot guys and gals.

Our unit has been busy, we finally left Fallujah and now we are in Baghdad (Camp Victory) it is very very nice here. Currently the whole company is living in a trailer park, the trailers are very nice also! A/C works in all of them, we have continous hot water, and shower. Our soldiers' moral is very high right now also! Actually today, those soldiers that werent on the roads of Baghdad securing the streets were out watching Toby Keith and Ted Nugent in a live concert. The soldiers have been enjoying everything that you guys and gals have been sending. If you have not recieved a thank you letter, believe me they are coming. I try to at least write once! To some of you I wrote more than once. I hope to be getting some more pictures for the next time so keep checking. Once again, if anyone wants a pen pal just write and I will see what I can do. Also dont forget any gals looking for some Hardcore Paratroopers send me some letters and I will distribute. There is alot of lonely guys over here :) hahaha! Of course. Personal hygiene items are not as much needed anymore, canned air and such is still a must though. If anyone has any fold out chairs those are also handy. Anything for decorating a paratroopers room would also be great. Food is also always good! (Chips and Dip) Well nothing much I will write later!

I've started recieving letters already....I greatly appreciate it. I'm going to do my best in answering everyone back. But cannot make any promises. The guys wanted me to request some other things. I will include the list:

electronic maintenance equipment, batteries, headflashlights, army brown-shirts, cotton black socks, boxers, white socks, water guns, potato chips, dip, any types of foods, some personal hygiene items (we are doing well with though but cant never have too much) if there is any ideas on secondary showers, we still run out of water at least once a week. Chewing Tobacco, Cigarretes (I don't do either I would rather make these guys quit but I cant do that). Cameras, power converters from 220 to 110. This is just things that guys have told me to include in the list. They are more of wants and not needs. I'm not picky and either way you guys are putting a smile on our faces just by sending packages. Also it would be great If you could send pictures of yourselves of who are sending these packages. We wonder sometimes. If you can't thats alright also. Well thats about it. Talk to you soon and if you wanna just say hi, write me a line and I will try my hardest to reply.

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!

Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!

Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.

Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier if your package is for a female!

DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Soldier!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"

(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.

(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.

(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan. You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)

New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.

(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.

(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.

(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)

(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".

( Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.

( Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now) (Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
