effort, READ THIS CAREFULLY!
YOU MUST:
- Be Active Duty MILITARY
- Have at least 4 MONTHS LEFT IN COUNTRY (27 Dec 08 or later)
- Receive COMBAT or HAZARDOUS DUTY PAY

(Note: sea-based contacts on ships MUST BE in DIRECT support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and/or
Operation Enduring Freedom to be accepted, and are subject to verification of the ship's status.)
NOTE: According to Army Times (July 4, 2005),
the Multi-National Corps-Iraq states that anyone who owns, maintains or posts to a web site or web log must formally notify his chain of command. Any Soldier Inc. supports this policy of course and requests that you comply. Posting to this web site may fall under this policy so please check with your chain of command. We do not allow any politics or classified information on our site, so there should not be any problems.

PLEASE NOTE: AnySoldier.com
has a reputation of being extremely effective and our contacts get a lot of support. We suggest that you do not sign up with other efforts (double-dipping) as it often leads to excessive amounts of mail and support, also taking away from units not on any list. It simply isn't fair.
This is NOT a requirement, just a very strong suggestion.
I have read the AnySoldier.com
web site and understand the concept of the Any Soldier Inc. effort.
I fully understand and agree that:
- This effort is based on the honor system and is completely voluntary.
- I will receive mail addressed to me, with the line "ATTN: Any Soldier
" (or) "ATTN: Any Female Soldier
" under my name.
- I am free to check each and every package for contraband or how I want to distribute the contents.
- There are no safety filters in this except for me and my soldiers.
- I realize it is possible somebody may send something to me that I really shouldn't get, or want.
- For safety's sake I will follow the, "If in doubt, throw it out!" rule. Safety comes FIRST.
- Any Soldier Inc. tells folks not to send home-made items like cookies, and requires that your soldiers not eat anything that is not in a factory sealed package.
- I will pass on this mail and packages to the soldiers that don't get much or any mail first, but I am allowed to keep anything I deem I should within the intent of the effort.
- I am not allowed to sell anything I get from this effort, send back to my family, or otherwise use for my personal gain.
- I will provide updates at least once a month (if at all possible) by simply sending an email to Support@AnySoldier.com
.
- The only acceptable updates are text in email (No PDFs, Word Docs, etc) and pictures as attachments to the email, and AnySoldier.com
will do the rest.
- I realize that the AnySoldier.com
site has a search engine so folks can identify units that request particular items. This is important so being specific is very helpful, such as: socks, white, ankle...or t-shirts, brown, short sleeve.
- Keeping the supporters smart is the way this helps me help my soldiers.
- What I write on this application will be read by many people, so I will NOT USE ALL CAPS or all lowercase, check my spelling and grammar, etc.
- I realize that I am talking to a mostly civilian audience, many of them are children.
Applications not properly or clearly completed are rejected without notice.
All applications are subject to approval, they are not automatic.
